  After the initial laser treatment session, some patients may experience redness or mild inflammation. During the healing process, it’s common to feel itchy—but don’t pick at the scabs! We recommend applying moisturizer to alleviate any itchiness post-treatment. Fortunately, PICO Genesis doesn’t require any downtime, so you can resume normal activities immediately.

  At Jiva Med Spa, we recommend receiving a minimum of 3-5 PICO Genesis treatment sessions for optimal skin rejuvenation results. Patients should wait approximately 2-4 weeks between each session to let their skin rest and rejuvenate. Results can last up to years with proper skincare routines, but results may vary from person to person.
